    Description

    This is a pair of Solid 14K Yellow Gold Gray/White Jade (Nephrite) Cufflinks.  I recently acquired these at a local unclaimed bank safe deposit box contents auction.  I believe they date from the 1940's or 50's, maybe earlier.  They are clearly marked 14K and have a maker's mark (S-N) on the back of one of the buttons on each cufflink.  They are done in plain Yellow Gold with a bright polished finish.  Each button has an oval yellow gold frame measuring 5/8 inch by 3/8 inch holding a Nephrite cabochon.    The pair of cufflinks has a combined weight of 7.7 grams on my digital postal scale.
