Slender Leather Buckle Belt & Sword Carriage
This sturdy 10-11 oz drum dyed bridle (chestnut) or latigo (black) leather belt is the same premium product that we've made for thousands of SCA and Ren-Faire participants over several decades. It is sealed the full length on all sides to prevent die transfer onto your attire. It measures 3/4" wide and approx 72" (your choice of more or less) in length so that it can be knotted in Half Windsor/SCA fashion. It comes complete with an appropriately sized solid brass buckle. This is now paired with a set of specialty straps for hanging a sword/dagger scabbard or hafting an axe. These are adjustable by way of a well threaded slider that will apply an effective friction grip to the scabbard or hold open for an axe handle. The top strap is adjustable by way of a tongued buckle so that the angle of the accessory can be adjusted. Built for long life and with serious quality, it will exceed your expectations.

Length

This belt is a typically 72" but we make each belt just for you and generally have longer straps on hand. Just ask, and we'll make it happen.
Shorter is very easy too, but please be careful and don't make it too small for you. The formula is circumference of WAIST + 8 inches + about how long you'll want the tail. If we don't hear from you we'll assume that 72+/-" is good as that fits most folks pretty well.
Finished end
:
Square cut or diagonal cut. We'll trim the end with a diagonal cut unless you tell us otherwise.
Width:
This belt is 3/4" inch wide. If you'd prefer something else please visit our other auctions for a wider selection or send a message.
Holes:
We typically ship these with no holes punched on the belt and a single hole punched on the keepers. This allows the wearer to size and perforate these in person when a fit can be had wearing all garments and accessories that shall be there under. We
can
custom punch, but at that point it becomes a custom made item for which we will be unable to issue a full refund if returned.

We do have a lifetime guarantee on all of our armor; HOWEVER, we do not guarantee the life of the user. Any contact sport has the potential for bodily harm and injury. If using our products in a contact fighting, sparring or any other reenactment involving weapons we do not guarantee against injury!
This fine belt is handmade entirely with hand tools in our smoke free workshop in Saint Albans, Vermont.
