    FABRIC SWATCH DISPLAY
    AUNT MIMI MENDIPS
    WELCOME BEATLES JOHN LENNON FANS!
Unique 3 1/2 inch x 5 3/4 inch by 1/2 inch thick, clear, UV protective, acrylic holder with colorful graphics of aunt Mimi's Mendips house with an actual swatch, of grey liner, from a pair of black trousers/pants worn by John in 1967. Originally acquired in the early 80's directly from Gordon Millings whose father was the owner of Millings and Son tailor shop. This was the famous tailor shop used by the Beatles, many movie stars, and other important music figures. Acquired through the British auction house of Cooper and Owen. The trousers have the original Millings and Son bevo label and the additional label with hand-written notes with a "John Lennon July 1967." After careful inspection and consideration it was determined that a small fragment of material (left by the tailor) could be removed without compromising the integrity of the trousers. The material was removed from the waist area. The removal was done by a professional seamstress. I have several of these and each swatch of material is a little different, but all will be of equal size. The display also contains 4 actual film frames from a documentary showing a young John Lennon, his mother, and aunt Mimi (left side). What a wonderful grouping! It will be the center of your John Lennon collection.
YOU WILL RECEIVE A BEAUTIFUL GOLD COLORED, METAL, 40MM, COIN WITH "BEATLES-JOHN-PAUL-GEORGE-RINGO" NAMES TO ONE SIDE WITH COLORIZED IMAGE OF JOHN TO THE OTHER.
This display comes with a laminated COA card on the swatch and one for the film frames, plus a small display stand.
