ART DECO 2-Sided MOSAIN Guilloche Enamel Cufflinks Green White Patterns Vintage
These vintage Art Deco guilloche´ enamel cufflinks by Mosain are in stunning shades of green, framed in creamy white, all with
dynamic patterns in the enamel, that almost appear to have actual dimension, as if carved.  Radiating around the bulls eye in the center are rows of concentric circles.  The radiating circles are followed by a wavy, zigzag circle at the end of the green enamel.  A silver band, which is echoed by that framing the links, separates the two shades of enamel and in the white border is another zigzag circle, echoing the one in green.
The juxtaposition and repetition of the patterns creates the impression of texture, depth and most of all, motion.  The patterns are equally clear and strong on all four faces, despite any appearances to the contrary in some of the poor photos.  The links are

With the patterns and the gorgeous green color, set off by the white, these cufflinks will look outstanding against the fabric of your cuff!
Measuring about 9/16" across, they are signed "Mosain" in a cartouche on all four backs.
They are in Very Good vintage condition with no breaks, repairs, chips or cracks.  The only flaw of note is a couple black spots in the white enamel I have not attempted to clean, apparently dating to manufacture.  Upon close inspection with my jeweler's loupe, preferably at an oblique angle to the light, I note surface scratches from normal wear, as well as the usual minor manufacturing imperfections: minute bubbles, pitting and/or depressions, and a few dark spots in the enamel, mainly that mentioned above, best seen in the lower left face of the 3rd photo.  The links have a lovely vintage patina; cleaning and polishing are left to the buyer's discretion.  And these striking links are extremely eye catching!
